Electric Bike Service
Do you have an electrical problem? Please read on. We can get 95% of ebikes back on the road in a few days to a week

If you are in need of regular maintanance -- brakes, shifting, tune-up, etc, please click here for bike service info. We treat e-bikes as regular bikes for general maintainance!
Diagnostics
We are not able to take appointments because we never know how long a diagnostic will take, or how many other ebikes came in before it.

Please bring your bike (or scooter) to the shop. We cannot do diagnostics over the phone, we must use our specialized toolkit to find the problem. When diagnostics are complete we will have a list of parts, prices if applicable, and (very approximate) time frame ready for you.

We charge a flat diagnostic rate of $25 for electric bikes and $35 for scooters, payable on dropoff of product.
If you drop off your ebike the battery diagnostic is included in the cost.

Batteries: we are battery experts and can diagnose and fix, refurbish or replace most batteries on the market. If you bring just your battery, we can often tell if a battery is bad without charging the customer a diagnostic fee. To investigate a replacement, we must do more work on dissasembling or researching options and the following fee applies:

About the process
Electric mobility products are incredibly hard to problem-solve. Many bikes and scooters use specialized parts that are hard or impossible to connect to with non-OEM testing tools or parts. We are usually able to find a solution, however we must warn you to be prepared for dissapointment.

Typically the problem lies in the controller (inside the bike), LCD screen/control panel, or motor. These components are expensive and can fail in series with one another, meaning long and costly repairs.
​
If you purchased your bike from a reputable bike company, you will most likely find success repairing your bike. Your definition of a reputable bike company may differ from our experience however. As most customers are already aware, there are too many "brands" and not enough real companies behind the brands. In other words, customer support is very hard to come by in this business. Patience is key for us and for our customers.

Warranty Service​
We will attempt to get warranty parts replacement for your bike (if it is still under the manufacturer/seller warranty).
​
Many ebike companies are non-responsive and bad at stocking parts in the United States. Because we have limited space, we may ask that you retrieve the bike if there is a backorder or poor/nonexistent customer support.
​
If we must return the bike to the customer to try to get help from the company on their own time, we will provide a full list of parts needed, problems found, and pictures/videos if applicable. We will always install the parts when/if they arrive, however in some cases we have to let the customer try to get support from the brand themselves.

Scooter Notice​
Electric scooters ALL use specialized parts, that we are unable to carry in the shop. We can easily locate a battery or controller issue, however the display/control panel are always special to the product.
​
Batteries can be sourced from outside the company, however be aware that a new battery with rewiring/installation to the scooter sometimes costs as much as a new scooter (with a new warranty).
​
Scooter companies are notoriously terrible at customer support. We will attempt to reach out to the company however the success rate is low, so please be forewarned.
